2. Pull with your hands
PE material is relatively soft, but has poor toughness and can break after stretching; PVC material has strong toughness and can be greatly stretched without breaking, and it is easy to stick to hands.
3. Burn with fire
After the PE cling film is ignited with fire, the flame turns yellow and burns rapidly, with a smell of candle burning; PVC cling film, due to its chlorine content, has a yellow green flame when ignited with fire, without any oil dripping phenomenon. It will extinguish after leaving the fire source and has a strong pungent odor.
4. Soak in water
Due to the difference in density between the two, the density of PE cling film is lower than that of water, and it will float up when immersed in water; PVC cling film has a higher density than water and will sink when immersed in water.
